River Jordan works to empower current and former foster youth to take responsibility of their lives and become productive members of society!

Foster care comes with many challenges. Foster Care Recovery works to help individuals who are or have undergone foster care come to terms with their lived experiences and heal from them. FCR follows the model of awareness, understanding, acceptance, and forgiveness. River Jordan works to help individuals be aware of why they are/were in Foster Care, understanding why, accepting the situation, and work to forgive those who have failed them.

May is foster care awareness month. By signing up to participate in this event, you will be supporting dozens of young people working towards recovery from their foster care experiences.

You'll receive a participant package in the mail with a t-shirt, race bib, and inspirational message. Once the participant pack is received, pick a day during the month of May & RUN!

Make sure to carry your phone with you to track your time and distance. The top 8 runners will be announced in a Facebook live and be receiving medals via mail at the end of May! A form to submit your run time will be sent in an email upon participant registration confirmation.

Don't be afraid to challenge your friends & family to sign-up and participate!

ALL AGES WELCOME!
